Hi, I'm Gary
I studied Sport & Nutrition Management at college before working for a family run fine foods company. I now work as a telecommunications engineer alongside coaching at my running club, Cumbernauld AAC.
I started running in 2019 following the passing of my Dad. What began as a way to cope gradually became a passion, and through self-coaching and studying different training methods, I've developed into a 2:35 marathon runner.
Running has had a huge positive impact on my life, and I want to help others experience the same. My coaching focuses on structure, consistency and flexibility, adapting training around work, family, and life commitments while helping runners achieve their goals.
